Two Practices, One Story. Introducing TGA: This Great Adventure

For a while now, we've been two names telling one story. TGACom and This Great Adventure have worked alongside each other, often on the same projects, for the same clients, with the same underlying belief: that great stories, told well, change minds.

Today that separation ends. We're combining both practices into a single, unified one, TGA: This Great Adventure.

On one side, over thirty years of experience in cultural consultancy, interpretation development and delivery, and narrative environment design: the deep rooted discipline of helping organisations and institutions understand what story it should be telling, why, how and to who.

On the other, innovation in interactive and immersive storytelling, collaborative placemaking and creative technologies – bringing stories into the world through the platforms, media and physical-digital experiences audiences engage with today.

That combination is what this launch is really about, experience and innovation, and it's why it also marks the launch of The Narrative Directors.

It's the name for how we now show up on every project, as consultants, part of the delivery team, or mentors: bringing creativity, clarity and direction to cultural and communication projects at any stage and at every scale – from a single workshop to a national Expo pavilion, from early strategic and team building conversations to full Development and Delivery phased programmes.

Whether a project needs a masterplan, a gallery, a digital platform, a change programme or all of the above, it starts in the same place: understanding your identity and purpose, articulating your core narrative, and directing everything creative, design and technical decision that flows from it.

This website is the first place that our story is being told in one voice rather than two.

Wherever your project is in its journey, that's where we start transforming stories into experiences.
