Capture your performance(s) in full 3D using volumetric video. Work with one of our partner studios or collaborate with your own production team to record your dance, music, spoken word, theatre, or story — every gesture, every expression, every movement, perfectly preserved.
2. Publish
Deliver your performances to audiences in any location using the OPUS platform. Performances can be linked to real-world locations, digital spaces, or printed objects using AR markers — turning streets, foyers, galleries, or even your audience’s homes into stages. Choose how, where, and when audiences can access your work.
3. Engage
Connect with audiences in entirely new ways. Let people play, collect, and revisit performances wherever they are. Link your experiences to ticket offers, behind-the-scenes content, or community projects. OPUS – The Next Stage is a groundbreaking immersive augmented reality platform that transforms how and where audiences can experience performance, art, and storytelling.
Using new 3D film // volumetric video technology, we record real people delivering original performances using around 40 cameras and scanners, preserving every detail of their performance.
We enhance the performances using game engines to add SFX, VFX and interactivity.
Finally, we place experiences into real-world locations, linked to interactive maps and graphics, for audiences to discover and experience through their smartphones or tablets.
Building on more than three decades of creative research and collaboration, the OPUS project brings together artists, arts organisations, and immersive media studios to explore and create new ways of sharing cultural stories and delivering performances.
